ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (for Rear Side) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fender Mudguard)

      Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 3 hexagon screws.

    2. A01NFP7

      Remove the 2 screws and rear quarter panel mudguard sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fender Mudguard)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR


    1. A01NGGR

      Remove the 2 screws and grommet.

    2. A01NGGW

      Remove the 4 screws.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and 3 clips.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 luggage compartment side cover protector.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR


    1. A01NEJ9

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and No. 1 luggage compartment side cover protector.

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the rear bumper assembly.

    2. A01NGEW

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    3. A01NGHR

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 rear bumper upper stoppers.

    4. A01NF9L

      Remove the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. A01NHL3

      Disengage the 7 claws.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Disconnect each connector.

    7. A01NEXN

      Disengage the 4 claws and 4 guides, and remove the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01NGPW

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  7. REMOVE ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA)


    1. A01NE2U

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and electrical key oscillator (electrical key antenna).

      Note

      Be careful when removing the electrical key oscillator (electrical key antenna). If the oscillator is dropped, replace it with a new one.
