DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the parking assist ECU receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly that indicates a power supply system problem.

  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-display after the battery terminal disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY)

      Disconnect the F43 connector from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F43-2 (ESS) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F43-5 (IG) - F43-2 (ESS) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      F43-6 (BAT) - F43-2 (ESS) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
