DESCRIPTION

If the telematics transceiver detects an error in communication between the telematics transceiver and the center airbag sensor assembly as a result of the telematics transceiver self check, this DTC will be stored.

  1. CHECK DTC (SRS AIRBAG SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    NG

    GO TO SRS AIRBAG SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.

      Disconnect the G25 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. A01NDB1E01

      Disconnect the F29 center airbag sensor connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G25-24 (GSW) - F29-24 (GSW3) Always Below 1 Ω
      G25-24 (GSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

      Disconnect the G25 telematics transceiver connector.

      Check the input waveform.


      1. Check the signal waveform according to the condition(s) in the table below. (Check the waveform from the back of the wire harness connector of the telematics transceiver while the center airbag sensor assembly connectors are connected.)

        Tool setting 5.0 V/DIV., 20 ms/DIV.

  6. REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the center airbag sensor assembly with a normal one and check if the same DTC is output again.
