NAVIGATION RECEIVER (for DVD) REMOVAL


  1. EJECT MAP DISC


    1. A01NEYT

      Disengage the 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the front console box cover.

    2. Turn the power switch on (ACC).

    3. Push the "MENU" button on the remote operation controller.

    4. Operate the remote operation controller and select "Info. Phone" on the navigation screen.

    5. Operating the remote operation controller, select "Map Data" on the navigation screen.

    6. Operating the remote operation controller, select "EJECT DVD" on the navigation screen to eject the map disc from the navigation receiver.

      Remove the map disc from the navigation receiver.

    8. Turn the power switch off.

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

      Remove the 3 clips and the rear deck floor box.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NGRU

      Move the shift lever to N.

    2. Pull the upper console panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 4 claws and 4 clips.

    3. w/o Seat Heater System:


      1. Disconnect the connector from the console box hole cover.

    4. A01NDQX

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disengage the 4 claws.

      2. Disconnect the connector and remove the seat heater switch assembly.

    5. A01NEP7

      Pull the upper console panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 3 claws and 3 clips.

    6. Disconnect each connector.

    7. Disengage the clamp and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT


    1. A01NH7K

      Remove the 2 screws and the No. 2 console box duct.

  7. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:


      1. Disengage the 4 claws and 6 clips, and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

    2. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:


      1. Disengage the 4 claws and 6 clips.

      2. Disconnect each connector and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NG12

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the clip and guide.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the multi-media interface ECU assembly.

  9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect each connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

      Pull the rear console box assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 8 guides and remove the rear console box assembly.

  10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH


    1. A01NGMK

      Using moulding remover B, disengage the 6 clips and remove the instrument panel garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE


    1. A01NFNE

      Push the No. 1 switch hole base in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the No. 1 switch hole base.

  12. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws and open the cover as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01NG78

      Remove the 2 screws <D>.

    3. Disengage the 8 clips and 2 guides.

    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. A01NG2R

      Pull the instrument panel finish panel in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the claw, 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the instrument panel finish panel.

  14. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      Pull the lower instrument panel finish panel in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 7 clips and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel.

  15. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH REGISTER

    Note


    • The 4 bolts of the radio receiver assembly with register are installed though the service holes at the bottom in the instrument panel. Make sure to check all of them.

    • If the radio receiver assembly with register is pulled without removing the 4 bolts, it may result in damage to the radio receiver assembly with register.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 9 clips.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with register.

  16. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX (for LHD)


    1. A01NDJA

      Remove the 5 screws <D>.

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. Remove the 3 clips.

    4. Disengage the 3 guides and remove the console box as shown in the illustration.

  17. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX (for RHD)

      Remove the 5 screws <D>.

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. Remove the 2 clips.

    4. Disengage the 3 guides and remove the console box as shown in the illustration.

  18. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. A01NDSO

      Disconnect the shift lock control ECU connector and transmission control switch wire connector.

    3. Disconnect the 3 clamps.

    4. Remove the 4 nuts and shift lever assembly.

    5. A01NDET

      Disconnect the end of the transmission control cable assembly from the shift lever assembly.

    6. Turn the lock nut counterclockwise. While holding the lock nut, disconnect the transmission control cable from the shift lever retainer.

  19. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

      Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Disengage the claw and turn back the floor carpet as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01NFXX

      Disengage the 3 clamps.

    4. Disengage the claw and turn back the floor carpet as shown in the illustration.

    5. A01NEQU

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    6. Remove the 3 bolts.

    7. Disengage the guide and remove the multi-media module navigation assembly with bracket.

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 DISC PLAYER BRACKET


    1. A01NG35

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 disc player bracket.

  21. REMOVE NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET


    1. A01NDVL

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 disc player bracket.

  22. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY

  23. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH BRACKET


    1. A01NHXQ

      Pull out the display and navigation module display with bracket to the rear of the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the display and navigation module display with bracket.

  24. REMOVE NO. 3 DISC PLAYER BRACKET


    1. A01NHVR

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 3 disc player bracket.

  25. REMOVE NO. 4 DISC PLAYER BRACKET


    1. A01NCXP

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 4 disc player bracket.
