NAVIGATION SYSTEM (for HDD), Diagnostic DTC:B159D, B15D9

DTC Code DTC Name
B159D No Response from Operation Panel
B15D9 Operation Panel Disconnected

DESCRIPTION

The display and navigation module display and the radio receiver assembly (A/C control panel) are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line.

When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the display and navigation module display and the radio receiver assembly (A/C control panel), these DTCs will be stored.

Tech Tips

If either B159D or B15D9 and either B1597 or B15D6 are output, troubleshoot for B1597 or B15D6 first.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B159D No response to the diagnostic memory request from the master unit.
  • Radio receiver assembly (A/C control panel) power source circuit

  • AVC-LAN circuit between display and navigation module display and radio receiver assembly (A/C control panel)

  • Radio receiver assembly

  • Multi-display assembly

  • Display and navigation module display

B15D9*1 A device that is listed in the AVC-LAN connected device record of the master unit is missing.

Tech Tips

  • *1: Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the battery condition or hybrid system start voltage.

  • The display and navigation module display is the master unit.
