DESCRIPTION

The display and navigation module display and combination meter mirror ECU are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line.

When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the display and navigation module display and combination meter mirror ECU, these DTCs will be stored.

  • *1: Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the battery condition or hybrid system start voltage.

  • The display and navigation module display is the master unit.

  1. CHECK OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)


    1. Check for optional components.


      1. Check that optional components (including associated wiring) which generate radio waves are not installed.

        Tech Tips


        • Electrical noise from radio waves generated by optional components or the wiring for those components may affect AVC-LAN communication.

        • This DTC may be stored when an AVC-LAN communication error occurs due to electrical noise.

  2. REPLACE OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)


    1. Remove optional components (including associated wiring).

      Note

      Do not remove optional components or associated wiring without the permission of the customer.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Disconnect the display and navigation module display connector.

    2. A01NFTLE04

      Disconnect the combination meter mirror ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G5-12 (TX2+) - H1-10 (MPX1) Always Below 1 Ω
      G5-13 (TX2-) - H1-11 (MPX2) Always Below 1 Ω
