STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NGN8

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NGRU

      Move the shift lever to N.

    2. Pull the upper console panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 4 claws and 4 clips.

    3. w/o Seat Heater System:


      1. Disconnect the connector from the console box hole cover.

    4. A01NDQX

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disengage the 4 claws.

      2. Disconnect the connector and remove the seat heater switch assembly.

    5. A01NEP7

      Pull the upper console panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 3 claws and 3 clips.

    6. Disconnect each connector.

    7. Disengage the clamp and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT

      Remove the 2 screws and the No. 2 console box duct.

  4. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:


      1. Disengage the 4 claws and 6 clips, and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

    2. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:


      1. Disengage the 4 claws and 6 clips.

      2. Disconnect each connector and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the clip and guide.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the multi-media interface ECU assembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect each connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

      Pull the rear console box assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 8 guides and remove the rear console box assembly.

  7. REMOVE CONSOLE COIN BOX


    1. A01NG34

      Remove the console coin box as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE LOWER CONSOLE BOX POCKET


    1. A01ND07

      Remove the lower console box pocket as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH


    1. A01NDR5

      Using moulding remover A, disengage the 6 claws, 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the front console upper panel garnish as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NHU6

      Remove the 7 screws.

    2. A01NE43

      Disengage the 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the No. 1 side box panel.

    3. A01NHU2

      Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the stereo jack adapter assembly.

  11. REMOVE HEADPHONE TERMINAL LH (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)


    1. A01NDMO

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the headphone terminal LH.

  12. REMOVE HEADPHONE TERMINAL RH (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)


    1. A01NHBW

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the headphone terminal RH.

  13. REMOVE VIDEO TERMINAL (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the video terminal.
