REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the rear seat entertainment system.

  • *: Use the intelligent tester.


  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Inspect the battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  3. CHECK FOR DTC*


    1. Refer to DTC Check / Clear Click here.

      Result

      If more information is needed, perform a recheck using the "System Check Mode" screen after rechecking for DTCs using the intelligent tester Click here.

  4. DTC CLEAR*


    1. Clear the DTCs and finish diagnostic mode.

      Tech Tips

      The current DTCs may not indicate actual malfunctions depending on the vehicle operating conditions.

  5. RECHECK FOR DTC*


    1. Recheck for DTCs.

      Tech Tips


      • Even if the malfunction symptom cannot be confirmed, check for DTCs. This is because the system stores history DTCs.

      • If more information is needed, perform a recheck using the "System Check Mode" screen after rechecking for DTCs using the intelligent tester Click here.

      • Check the DTC and inspect the area the code indicates.
