ROOF WINDOW FIX GLASS REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF HOUSING

  2. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 12 nuts and sliding roof glass sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 6 SUNSHADE TRIM PROTECTOR

      Remove the No. 6 sunshade trim protector.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 SLIDING ROOF SEAL

      Using a scraper, remove the No. 2 sliding roof seal.

      Note

      Be sure to replace the No. 2 sliding roof seal with a new one.

  5. REMOVE ROOF WINDOW GLASS

      *2 Piano Wire

      Pass a piano wire between the reinforcement and glass from the reinforcement, as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Ensure not to interfere with the clips when passing the piano wire.

    2. Tie both wire ends to wooden blocks or similar objects that can serve as handles.

    3. Cut off the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the roof window glass.
