POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM Driver Side Power Window does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch

DESCRIPTION

When the hybrid vehicle control system is running or the power switch is on (IG), the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) is operated by the multiplex network master switch assembly. The power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) has motor, regulator and ECU functions.

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (Main Body)

   
   

   1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

   5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

      Main Body (Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU))

2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (D-Door Motor)

   
   

   1. Enter the following menus: Body / D-Door Motor / Data List.

   2. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (D-Door Motor)

   
   

   1. Enter the following menus: Body / D-Door Motor / Active Test.

   2. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the intelligent tester.

      CAUTION:

      Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function will not operate.

      Disconnect the multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

   2. Disconnect the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
