HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR (for Rear Side) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NCPC

      Install the rear height control sensor sub-assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not drop the height control sensor. If the sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. A01NGSB

      Install the height control sensor link to the rear upper control arm with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
    3. A01NDRF

      Install the height control sensor wire harness bracket to the rear suspension member with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }
    4. A01NFXZ

      Connect the connector.

  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. A01NDSY

      Install the rear deck floor box with the 3 clips.

  4. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT

    Note

    If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.


    1. Change the height control switch from the "NORMAL" position to the "HIGH" position and back to the "NORMAL" position.

    2. Measure the vehicle height Click here.

  5. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT

    Note

    If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.

  6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization Click here.

  7. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for HID Headlight)


    1. Adjust the headlight Click here.

  8. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Headlight)
