C1942 Malfunction in Signal from Steering Sensor to Front Active Stabilizer Control ECU

DESCRIPTION

If the front active stabilizer control ECU receives a steering sensor malfunction signal, DTC C1942 is output. The steering sensor is diagnosed by the skid control ECU. If electronically controlled brake system related DTCs are output, perform a diagnosis of the electronically controlled brake system. If no electronically controlled brake is output, there may be a malfunction in the front active stabilizer control ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (READY) and the intelligent tester on.

    4. Check that no electronically controlled brake system DTCs are output Click here.

      DTC is not output.
