DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1929 During initial check immediately after turning power switch on (READY), malfunction is detected in front active stabilizer control actuator's magnetic pole sensor (motor pulse sensor)
  • Harness or connector

  • Front active stabilizer control actuator assembly

  • Front active stabilizer control ECU

C192A Malfunction is detected in front active stabilizer control actuator's magnetic pole sensor (motor pulse sensor)
C192B Malfunction is detected in front active stabilizer control actuator's motor short relay
C192C During front active stabilizer control, front active stabilizer control actuator stuck condition is detected
C1944 During front active stabilizer control, front active stabilizer control actuator torque insufficient condition is detected

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION

    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Check that the wire harness connectors between the front active stabilizer control ECU and front active stabilizer control actuator assembly are not loose or disconnected and that the wire harness is not damaged.

      OK
Connectors are not loose or disconnected. Wire harness is not damaged.

      Tech Tips

If the wire harness of the front active stabilizer control actuator assembly is damaged, replace the front active stabilizer control actuator assembly Click here.

    NG
    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY - FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER ECU)

    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Disconnect the g15 and g14 ECU connectors.

    3. Disconnect the g17 and g16 actuator connectors.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      z14-1 (W) - g16-1 (W) Always Below 1 Ω
z14-1 (W) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z14-2 (U) - g16-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
z14-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z14-3 (V) - g16-3 (V) Always Below 1 Ω
z14-3 (V) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      g15-7 (SV) - g17-6 (SV) Always Below 1 Ω
g15-7 (SV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      g15-8 (HA) - g17-7 (HA) Always Below 1 Ω
g15-8 (HA) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      g15-9 (HB) - g17-8 (HB) Always Below 1 Ω
g15-9 (HB) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      g15-12 (SG) - g17-10 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
g15-12 (SG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      g15-2 (SR) - g17-2 (SR) Always Below 1 Ω
g15-2 (SR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG
    OK
  3. INTERCHANGE FRONT AND REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU

    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Interchange the front active stabilizer control ECU with the rear active stabilizer control ECU, and install them securely Click here.

  4. CLEAR DTC

    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG) and the intelligent tester on.

    4. Clear the DTC Click here.

  5. CHECK OPERATION OF FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU

    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (READY) and wait 30 seconds or more. Then check for rear active stabilizer DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC C1901, C1902, C1903, C1904 and C191C are not output.

      Tech Tips

Interchange the front and rear active stabilizer control ECUs and check for DTCs. After interchanging the ECUs, if a rear active stabilizer DTC is stored, it can be determined that the front active stabilizer control ECU is malfunctioning. If no DTC is stored, the front active stabilizer control actuator assembly is malfunctioning.
