SHIFT LEVER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws and floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      *1 Indicator Light Wire Connector

      Disconnect the indicator light wire connector from the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the lower position indicator housing.

  3. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

      Remove the shift lock release button and compression spring.

  4. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly from the lower position indicator housing.

  5. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT CAP


    1. Remove the position indicator light cap from the position indicator light bulb.

  6. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB


    1. Remove the position indicator light bulb from the indicator light wire sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the position indicator light guide.

  8. REMOVE UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the upper position indicator housing from the lower position indicator housing.

  9. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A01NEXI

      Remove the position indicator slide cover from the lower position indicator housing.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  11. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the lower position indicator housing from the shift lock control unit assembly.

  12. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NGBN

      Disconnect the connector from the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly.
