DESCRIPTION

When the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the driving support ECU. Also, when the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it receives the country specification information from the main body ECU. When the country specification information in the sensor and ECU do not match, DTC C1A0A is stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Data List / Country# (F Radar Sens).

    5. Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the front millimeter wave radar sensor and vehicle.

  2. CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC C1A0A)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    4. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.

      2. Turn the cruise control main switch on.

      3. Push the -SET switch to activate the cruise control.

    5. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / DTC.

    6. Read the DTCs.
