OIL LEVEL SENSOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR


    1. A01NG4W

      Install the engine oil level sensor and a new gasket with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.2 N*m  { 84 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }
    2. A01NF0S

      Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.

    3. A01NHWA

      Connect the oil pressure switch connector.

    4. A01NDV1

      Connect the wire harness protector and attach the claw.

  2. ADD ENGINE OIL


    1. Add clean engine oil and install the oil filler cap.

      Standard Oil Grade
      Oil Grade Oil Viscosity (SAE)
      API grade SL or SM multigrade engine oil
      • 20W-50


      • 15W-40


      • API grade SL "Energy-Conserving".


      • SM "Energy-Conserving" or ILSAC multigrade engine oil


      • 10W-30


      • 5W-30


      • 5W-20


      • 0W-20

      Item Standard Condition
      Drain and refill with oil filter change 6.1 liters (6.4 US qts, 5.4 lmp. qts)
      Drain and refill without oil filter change 5.7 liters (6.0 US qts, 5.0 lmp. qts)
      Dry fill 6.8 liters (7.2 US qts, 6.0 lmp. qts)
  3. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK


    1. Put the engine in inspection mode Click here.

    2. Start the engine.

    3. Check for engine oil leaks from the connected parts of the oil filter cap and oil filter drain plug.

  4. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL


    1. Warm up and stop the engine, then wait for 5 minutes. The oil level should be between the low level and full level marks on the engine oil level dipstick.

      If the engine oil level is low, check for leakage and add oil up to the full level mark.

      Note

      Do not add engine oil to above the full level mark.

  5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH

  6. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH

  7. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH

    Torque:
    103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }
