INSTALL FUEL TANK CUSHION
Install 8 new fuel tank cushions to the fuel tank.
INSTALL CLAMP
Install the 2 fuel tube clamps of the fuel tank main tube to the fuel tank.
Install the grommet to the fuel tank.
INSTALL FUEL TANK MAIN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the fuel tank main tube to the clamp.
INSTALL FUEL TANK TO CANISTER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Connect the fuel tank to canister tube sub-assembly.
Push in the fuel tube connector to the pipe and push down the retainer so that the claws engage.
Note
Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part of the fuel pipe.
After connecting, check that the fuel tube connector and the pipe are securely connected by pulling on them.
Install the fuel tank to canister tube to the fuel tank.
INSTALL FUEL TANK WIRE
Connect the 4 clamps to install the fuel tank wire.
INSTALL FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE
Install the fuel suction tube assembly with pump and gauge Click here.
INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY
Operate the engine lifter, and install the fuel tank to the vehicle.
Note
Slowly raise the lifter so as not to drop the fuel tank assembly.
Install the 2 fuel tank bands with the 4 bolts.
CONNECT FUEL TANK TO FILLER PIPE HOSE
Connect the fuel tank to filler pipe hose with the hose clamp.
Connect the fuel tank breather hose with the hose clamp.
CONNECT FUEL TANK MAIN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Connect the fuel tank main tube sub-assembly.
Push in the fuel tube connector to the pipe and push up the retainer to engage the claws.
Note
Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.
After connecting, check that the fuel tube connector and the pipe are securely connected by pulling on them.
CONNECT FUEL TANK TO CANISTER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the fuel tank to canister tube sub-assembly to the clamp.

Connect the fuel tank to canister tube sub-assembly.
Push the fuel tube connector into the pipe until the fuel tube connector makes a "click" sound.
Note
Check for any damage or foreign objects on the connected part.
After connecting, check that the fuel tube connector and the pipe are securely connected by trying to pull them apart.
CONNECT FUEL TANK WIRE
Connect the fuel tank wire connector, and install it to the bracket.
INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER

Connect the 3 clips and install the front center floor cover.
Install the 7 bolts and 2 screws.
INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the nut.
INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL TANK PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 1 fuel tank protector sub-assembly with the screw and the 4 grommets.
INSTALL NO. 3 FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
Install the No. 3 front floor heat insulator with the 4 nuts.

CONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX
Install the rear deck floor box with the 3 clips.
ADD FUEL
INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
Check fuel pump operation.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Note
Do not start the engine.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Control the Fuel Pump / Speed.
Check for pressure in the fuel inlet tube from the fuel line. Check that sounds of fuel flowing from the fuel tank can be heard. If no sounds can be heard, check the integration relay, fuel pump, ECM and wiring connectors.
Inspect for fuel leaks.
Check that there are no fuel leaks from the fuel system after doing any maintenance or repairs. If there is a fuel leak, repair or replace parts as necessary.
Turn the power switch off.
Disconnect the intelligent tester from the DLC3.
INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
