FUEL PUMP DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NHMHE01

      Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.

    2. Slide and remove the fuel sender gauge assembly.

  2. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NHAHE03

      Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with tape, disengage the 4 snap claws through the claw holes, and pull out the fuel suction plate.

      Note

      Do not damage the fuel suction support.

  3. REMOVE FUEL PUMP HARNESS

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a screwdriver, pry out the fuel pump harness.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with tape, disengage the 4 snap claws through the claw holes, and remove the fuel suction support.

      Note

      Do not damage the fuel suction support.

  5. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CUSHION RUBBER


    1. A01NH2C

      Remove the fuel pump cushion rubber from the fuel pump assembly with filter.

  6. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH FILTER


    1. A01NFZF

      Pull out the fuel pump assembly with filter from the fuel filter assembly.

      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Remove the fuel pump filter seal and fuel pump spacer from the fuel pump assembly with filter. If the fuel pump filter seal still remains in the fuel filter assembly, remove it using a wire tip (φ1 mm) that is formed as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the sealing surface.
