POWER STEERING ECU REMOVAL

  1. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

  2. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  3. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the connectors from the instrument panel junction block assembly and power management control ECU.

    2. A01NEWG

      Remove the 2 nuts.

    3. Disconnect the connectors from the back of the instrument panel junction block assembly.

  5. REMOVE CONNECTOR HOLDER (for RHD)


    1. A01NET0

      Remove the 2 nuts and connector holder.

  6. REMOVE AFS ECU (for LHD)

  7. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. A01NHX3

      Remove the 2 nuts, clamp and power steering ECU assembly.

    2. A01NCQG

      Disconnect the 3 connectors from the power steering ECU assembly.

    3. A01NF86

      Disconnect the connector from the power steering ECU assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Pull out the lock of the lock lever, disengage the claw, and raise the lock lever to disconnect the connector as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01NGR5

      Remove the relay block sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. A01NHES

      Remove the 3 nuts, clamp and power steering ECU assembly.

    2. A01NFND

      Disconnect the connector from the power steering ECU assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Pull out the lock of the lock lever, disengage the claw, and raise the lock lever to disconnect the connector as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01NE3C

      Disconnect the 3 connectors from the power steering ECU assembly.

    4. A01NFXK

      Remove the relay block sub-assembly.
