C1546 Malfunction in HV ECU

DESCRIPTION

If the power steering ECU receives hybrid control system malfunction signals from the power management control ECU, the power steering ECU will output this DTC and turns on the P/S warning light. (The power steering system is operating normally.)

Power steering control will be prohibited as a fail-safe while the hybrid control system is not operating normally.

If signals from the hybrid control system return to normal, the P/S warning light will turn off, the fail-safe will be released, and the DTCs are cleared.
