BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER (for RHD) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL BRAKE STROKE SIMULATOR CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NHR3

      Install the brake stroke simulator cylinder sub-assembly to the brake stroke simulator cylinder bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Engage the clamp to install the connector.

  2. INSTALL MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR GROMMET


    1. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to 2 new master cylinder reservoir grommets.

    2. Install the 2 master cylinder reservoir grommets to the brake master cylinder union.

  3. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER UNION


    1. A01NCY0

      Install the brake master cylinder union to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly with the screw.

      Torque:
      1.8 N*m  { 18 kgf*cm, 16 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS


    1. A01NETR

      Temporarily install the lock nut and master cylinder push rod clevis to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Completely install the lock nut and master cylinder push rod clevis when adjusting the brake pedal height.
