Note
When the transaxle is removed, be sure to use a new clutch release with bearing cylinder assembly and new installation bolts. Removal of the transaxle allows the compressed clutch release with bearing cylinder assembly to return to its original position, and dust could damage the seal of the clutch release with bearing cylinder assembly, possibly causing clutch fluid leaks.
REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH HOUSING COVER
Remove the No. 1 clutch housing cover from the transaxle.
REMOVE ACCUMULATOR TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE
Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, separate the accumulator to flexible hose tube from the clutch accumulator.
Remove the bolt and accumulator to flexible hose tube.
REMOVE BLEEDER TO ACCUMULATOR TUBE
Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, remove the bleeder to accumulator tube.
REMOVE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 bolts and clutch accumulator.
REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE BLEEDER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, separate the clutch release bleeder from the bleeder clutch release tube.
Remove the 2 bolts and clutch release bleeder.
REMOVE RELEASE CYLINDER BLEEDER PLUG CAP

REMOVE CLUTCH TUBE BOOT
Remove the clutch tube boot from the transaxle.
REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE WITH BEARING CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 bolts and the clutch release with bearing cylinder assembly together with the bleeder clutch release tube.
REMOVE BLEEDER CLUTCH RELEASE TUBE
Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, remove the clutch release tube from the clutch release with bearing cylinder assembly.
REMOVE CLUTCH FLEXIBLE HOSE BRACKET
Remove the bolt clutch flexible hose bracket.
REMOVE CLUTCH COVER ASSEMBLY

Put the matchmarks on the clutch cover and the flywheel.
Loosen each set bolt one turn at a time until the spring tension is released.
Remove the set bolts and pull off the clutch cover.
Note
Do not drop the clutch disc.
