  1. INSPECT STARTER RELAY

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 When battery voltage is absent 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 5 When battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        • If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

  2. INSPECT GLOW PLUG RELAY

    A0117HCE02

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 When battery voltage is absent 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 2 When battery voltage applied to terminals 3 and 4 Below 1 Ω

        • If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
