REPLACE STUD BOLT
Using "TORX" socket wrenches E6 and E8, remove the 4 stud bolts.
Using "TORX" socket wrenches E6 and E8, install the 4 stud bolts.
REPLACE TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the oil seal.
Using SST and a hammer, tap in the new oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover edge.
Note
Tap the oil seal in from a vertical position.
Apply MP grease to the new oil seal lip.
Note
Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
REPLACE ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL

Using a knife, cut off the oil seal lip.
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in tape, pry out the oil seal.
Note
After removing, check the crankshaft for any damage. If damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
Apply MP grease to a new oil seal lip.
Note
Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
Using SST and a hammer, tap in the new oil seal until its surface is flush with the cylinder block edge.

Wipe any extra grease off the crankshaft.
