  1. INSPECT CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. Start the engine.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the VVT System.

    4. Check the engine speed while operating the oil control valve (OCV) with the intelligent tester.

      Standard Condition
      Tester Specified Condition
      0% (OCV OFF) Normal engine speed
      100% (OCV ON) Engine idles roughly or stalls
