  1. INSPECT PTC HEATER ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected:

      (PTC heater)
      *2

      Component with harness connected:

      (Ground terminal (for PTC heater))

      Disconnect the connector from the PTC heater.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - Ground terminal Always Below 1 Ω
      2 - Ground terminal Always Below 1 Ω
      3 - Ground terminal Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the PTC heater assembly.
