AIR INLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    Component without harness connected:

    (Damper servo sub-assembly)
    *2 Recirculation side
    *3 Fresh side

    1. Check the operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the servo motor and check the operation of the servo motor.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Turns to the "FRESH" side smoothly

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        		 Turns to the "RECIRCULATION" side smoothly

        If the result is not as specified, replace the recirculation damper servo motor.

  2. INSPECT DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    1. Check the operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the servo motor and check the operation of the servo motor.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Turns to the "FRESH" side smoothly

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        		 Turns to the "RECIRCULATION" side smoothly

        If the result is not as specified, replace the recirculation damper servo motor.
