REFRIGERANT LINE INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL PIPING CLAMP

      *1 Piping clamp
      *2 Groove
      *3 Suction pipe

      Install a new piping clamp onto the suction pipe.

      Note

      Securely engage the inside step of the piping clamp in the suction groove.

    2. Remove the vinyl tape from the open ends of the suction pipe and suction hose.

    3. Thoroughly coat a new O-ring and the contact surface of the suction pipe with compressor oil (ND-OIL8).

    4. Install the 2 O-rings onto the suction pipe.

      Note

      Do not let foreign matter adhere to the O-ring or O-ring seal.

      *b Alignment mark
      *c Alignment mark (yellow)

      Engage the suction pipe and suction hose by matching the alignment marks.

      Note

      Insert them by holding the pipe, not the piping clamp.

      *a Large diameter section of piping clamp

      Securely insert the piping clamp to the point where the large diameter section of the piping clamp is covered by the suction hose.

      • When inserting, make sure that a click sound is heard.

      • Check that the suction pipe is securely inserted by pulling it.
