DESCRIPTION

This is the main power source supplied to the air conditioning amplifier assembly when the ignition switch is ON. This power source is used for operating components, such as air conditioning amplifier assembly.

Note

Inspect fuses for circuits related to this system before the performing the following inspection procedures.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER

      Disconnect the D16 air conditioning amplifier connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      D16-14 (IG+) - D16-24 (GND) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
    4. Reconnect the D16 air conditioning amplifier connector

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the D16 air conditioning amplifier connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D16-24 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the air conditioning amplifier connector.
