AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH REMOVAL

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.


    1. Remove the front door scuff plate LH Click here.

  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.


    1. Remove the cowl side trim board LH Click here.

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH


    1. Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip to the extent that the No. 1 lower instrument panel finish panel can be removed.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

    1. Remove the 2 <C> bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and the 7 clips and separate the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel.

      Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the DLC3 connector.

      Disengage the 3 claws and disconnect the hood lock control lever.

  6. REMOVE AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH

      Remove the instrument panel lower while holding the 2 claws of the airbag cut-off switch.
