  2. LED CHECK

    1. Check the indicator/warning light operation according to the condition(s) in the table below.

      Indicator/Warning Light Specification
BRAKE, ABS, VSC OFF, TRC OFF, SLIP, ECO*1 Indicator/Warning light comes on for about 3 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON.
AIRBAG Warning light comes on for about 6 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON.
OIL PRESSURE, CHECK ENGINE, CHARGE, EPS, SHIFT UP/DOWN*2 Indicator/Warning light comes on after turning the ignition switch to ON and the indicator light goes off after the engine starts.

  3. GEAR SHIFT INDICATOR LIGHT SYSTEM (for Manual Transaxle)

    1. In the GSI system, the ECM determines the optimum shift position according to vehicle speed, engine speed, and throttle position signals. The ECM sends a signal to the combination meter assembly to turn on either the shift up indicator light or shift down indicator light via CAN communication.
