  1. INSPECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Component without harness connected

    (Hood Lock Assembly)

    1. Check the resistance of the engine hood courtesy switch.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Lock Below 1 Ω
        1 - 2 Unlock 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hood lock.
