DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction is found in the key during key code registration or a key code is not registered normally. Replace the key if the key code registration is not performed normally and this DTC is detected.

B2793	When attempting to register an ID code, the registration does not complete normally.	Key
B2794	A registered key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder, but key comparison indicates that the security code is incorrect.	Key
B2795	A key with a different ID code (an unregistered key) is inserted into ignition key cylinder.	Key

B2793 is stored when a malfunction is found in the key during key code registration or a key code is not registered normally. Replace the key code registration cannot be performed normally and this DTC is detected.
B2794 is stored when a key with an incomplete key code is inserted into the ignition key cylinder.
B2795 is stored when a key code that has not been registered in the ECU is inserted into the ignition key cylinder.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

If the transponder key ECU is replaced, register the key and ECU - ECM communication ID.
