PERSONAL LIGHT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Component without harness connected

    (Personal Light Assembly)

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

        1 - 3

        3 - 5

        		 OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 3 DOOR Below 400 Ω
        3 - 5 ON Below 400 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the personal light.

    2. Check the light operation.


      1. Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 5, then check that the light illuminates.

        OK
        Light illuminates.

        If the light does not illuminate, replace the personal light.
