DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER REMOVAL

Special caution should be taken when handling precision electronic components.


  1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry apart the transmitter housing cover as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Do not use excessive force when prying apart the transmitter housing cover.

      • Remove the transmitter housing cover while the switches face downward to prevent the switch knob from falling.

  2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SET SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the door control transmitter module set sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY


    1. A0118T9

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the transmitter battery cover.

    2. A0118D7

      Remove the transmitter battery, as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

      • Do not push the terminals with your finger.

      • Do not use excessive force when prying up the transmitter battery as this may damage the terminals.

      • Do not touch the transmitter battery with wet hands. Water may cause it to rust.

      • Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter as this may interfere with its proper operation.
