WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (w/o Entry and Start System) DTC CHECK / CLEAR


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. DTC check


      1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

      4. Enter the following menu: Body / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

      5. Check DTCs.

    2. DTC clear


      1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

      4. Enter the following menu: Body / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

      5. Clear DTCs.

  2. SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE (OPERATING IGNITION KEY CYLINDER)


    1. Switch to self-diagnostic mode.


      1. Establish the vehicle's initial conditions.

      2. Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder and remove it.

      3. Within 5 seconds of removing the key, insert it into the ignition key cylinder again.

      4. Turn the ignition switch to ON and then off.

      5. Within 30 seconds of turning the ignition switch off, perform the following operation 9 more times: Turn the ignition switch to ON and then off.

        Tech Tips


        • Turning the ignition switch to ON after the procedure above has been completed ends the self-diagnostic mode.

        • Do not lock or unlock doors during self-diagnostic mode.

        Note

        If the system cannot enter self-diagnostic mode, the system returns to normal mode.

      Check that the system has switched to self-diagnostic mode by checking the flash pattern of the interior light.

    3. Check the diagnostic outputs when the door control transmitter switch is held down. The diagnostic outputs can be checked by the flash patterns of the interior light.
