DESCRIPTION

The power steering ECU, power steering torque sensor and power steering motor are built into the steering column assembly.

The power steering ECU detects steering force using the signal input from the steering torque sensor, and also monitors the power steering motor circuit for errors.

  1. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY)


    1. Check the installation condition of the torque sensor and motor connectors.

      OK
      Torque sensor and motor connectors are securely connected to the power steering ECU.
