TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the rear console box ( Click here).

  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

      Disconnect the cable end from the shift lever.

      *1 Nut

      Rotate the nut counterclockwise 180°, and while supporting the nut, separate the transmission control cable from the shift lever plate.

      Note

      Do not rotate the nut excessively. If the nut is rotated too far, the internal spring will be damaged and the transmission control cable will be unusable.

      Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable from the transmission control shaft lever.

      Remove the clip and separate the transmission control cable from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

    6. A0118NE

      Remove the 3 bolts and then remove the transmission control cable from the vehicle exterior.
