SHIFT LEVER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the shift lock control ECU from the shift lever.

    2. A0117K3

      Separate the shift lock solenoid connector from the shift lock control ECU.

  2. REMOVE UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      Disengage the clamps and separate the transmission control switch connector from the shift lever.

    2. Disengage the 7 clamps and separate the position indicator light wire from the shift lever.

      Using a precision screwdriver, pull out terminals 7 and 14 from the transmission control switch connector.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the position indicator housing upper from the shift lever.

  3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the position indicator light guide from the position indicator housing upper.

    2. A0118Y7

      Remove the position indicator light wire from the position indicator light guide.

    3. Remove the position indicator light cap from the position indicator light valve.

    4. Remove the position indicator light valve from the position indicator light wire.

  4. REMOVE CONTROL POSITION INDICATOR PLATE

      Disengage the claws and remove the position indicator plate from the position indicator housing.

  5. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

      Remove the position indicator slide cover from the shift lever.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

      Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  7. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING


    1. A0119PH

      Using a small screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the position indicator housing lower from the shift lever.
