CLUTCH PEDAL (for LHD) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING (for 1KR-FE)


    1. Remove the clutch pedal spring from the push rod clevis pin and the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

      Remove the clip and the push rod clevis pin, and disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Remove the nut and the clutch start switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

      Note

      To prevent damage, do not rotate the clutch start switch assembly.

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Loosen the adjusting nut and remove the clutch switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

      Note

      To prevent damage, make sure to loosen the adjusting nut before attempting to rotate the clutch switch assembly.

  6. REMOVE PEDAL SPRING WITH HOOK (for 1NR-FE)

      *3 No. 1 Pedal Spring Hook

      Remove the tension spring from the spring hook and the No. 1 pedal spring hook.

    2. Remove the spring hook from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 pedal spring hook from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE TURN OVER SPRING SEAT COMPRESSION SPRING (for 1NR-FE)

      *3 Clutch Pedal Turnover Bush

      Remove the turn over spring seat compression spring from the clutch pedal turnover bush and the clutch pedal spring holder.

    2. Remove the clutch pedal spring holder from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the clutch pedal turnover bush from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the nut, bolt and the clutch pedal sub-assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

      Remove the 2 clutch pedal bushes and the clutch pedal shaft collar from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

      Remove the 2 No. 1 clutch pedal cushions from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS BUSH

      Using a socket hexagon wrench 8 mm and hammer, remove the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis bush from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL PAD


    1. Remove the clutch pedal pad from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.
