STARTER (for 1.0 kW Type) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01182Z

      Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. Connect the cable to terminal 30 with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    4. Close the terminal cap.

  2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. A011BL0E01

      Install the 2 new clips <B> onto the transmission control cable.

    2. Connect the transmission control cable with the 2 clips <A> onto the transaxle.

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
