EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR


    1. Remove the air fuel ratio sensor Click here.

  2. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR


    1. Remove the heated oxygen sensor Click here.

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the radiator assembly Click here.

  4. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 compression springs, and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly from the tail exhaust pipe assembly.

      Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 compression springs, and the front exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold.

  5. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A011ACI

      Remove the bolt, the nut and the manifold stay.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A0117JP

      Remove the 2 nuts, the bolt and the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  7. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0117GI

      Remove the 3 bolts, the 4 nuts and the exhaust manifold converter.

    2. Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket and the EGR inlet gasket from the cylinder head.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 3 bolts, the nut and the No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A011AV8

      Remove the 4 bolts and the No. 3 exhaust manifold heat insulator.
