INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK


    1. Remove the windshield wiper motor and link Click here.

  2. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the throttle with motor body assembly Click here.

  3. REMOVE E. F. I. VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the E.F.I vacuum sensor assembly Click here.

  4. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD STAY

      Remove the 2 bolts and the intake manifold stay.

  5. REMOVE UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose, ventilation hose and union to connector tube hose.

    2. Separate the fuel vapor feed hose from the hose clamp.

    3. Separate the water by-pass hose from the upper intake manifold sub-assembly.

    4. Remove the bolt and separate the duty vacuum switching valve.

      Remove the 3 bolts, 2 nuts and upper intake manifold sub-assembly.

      Remove the No. 1 intake manifold to head gasket from the upper intake manifold sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE EGR PIPE CONNECTOR

      Remove the 4 nuts and the EGR pipe connector.

    2. Remove the 2 EGR pipe gaskets.

  7. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

      Separate the water by-pass hose from the EGR valve.

    2. A0118U0

      Remove the 5 bolts, 2 nuts and intake manifold.

      Remove the manifold to cylinder head gasket from the EGR delivery chamber.

    4. A011BYJ

      Remove the EGR delivery chamber from the cylinder head.

    5. A0117ZA

      Remove the No. 2 intake manifold to head gasket from the cylinder head.

  8. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. A011A14

      Remove the water by-pass hose from the intake manifold.

  9. REMOVE HOSE CLAMP

      Remove the 2 bolts and the hose clamp.
