EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER AND HOSE

    *2 Guide

    1. Loosen the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose.

    2. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose.

    3. Disengage the 2 clamps and the 2 guides, and remove the air cleaner cap.

  2. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector and disengage the clamp.

      Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 compression springs, and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly from the tail exhaust pipe assembly.

    3. A011B7Y

      Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 compression springs, and the front exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold.

  3. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

      Remove the 2 bolts, the nut and the manifold stay.

  4. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp and air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. A011A75E01

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A0119K7

      Remove the 3 bolts and the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  6. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD


    1. A0117KA

      Remove the 2 bolts, the 4 nuts and the exhaust manifold.

    2. Remove the 2 gaskets from the cylinder head.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    1. A0118JQ

      Remove the 3 bolts and the No. 1 manifold converter insulator.
