DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR (for DPF) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A0118PRE01

      Connect the 2 vacuum transmitting hoses to the differential pressure sensor assembly.

    2. A011AVF

      Install the differential pressure sensor assembly with the bolt .

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
    3. A011BSU

      Connect the differential pressure sensor assembly connector.

  2. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A0118XZ

      Install the fuel filter with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 189 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }
    2. A0119HL

      Connect the 2 fuel hose clamps to the fuel filter.

    3. Connect the 2 fuel hoses to the fuel filter.

    4. A011A0C

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    5. A011B6X

      Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.

    6. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL BATTERY

  4. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    A011ADE

    1. Install the battery clamp with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL COWL PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the cowl panel sub-assembly Click here.

  6. BLEED AIR FROM FUEL SYSTEM

    Click here

  7. PERFORM DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR LEARNING


    1. Start the engine and wait until the engine coolant temperature reaches 75°C (167°F) or more (A).

    2. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more (B).

    3. Repeat the above procedures (A) and (B) 3 times.

      Tech Tips


      • Procedures (A) and (B) must be repeated 3 times to complete the differential pressure sensor learning process.

      • If the differential pressure sensor learning is incomplete, DTC P244A may be stored.
