EGR COOLER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the air cleaner hose.

  3. REMOVE ENGINE COVER ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the engine cover.

  4. REMOVE EGR WITH COOLER PIPE ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and disengage the wire harness clamp.

    2. A011BAL

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors and disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    4. A011BA3

      Disconnect the vacuum hose, No. 2 oil cooler hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose.

    5. A0118WA

      Remove the bolt and separate the No. 1 vacuum transmitting pipe sub-assembly.

    6. A0118Z6

      Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts and the EGR with cooler pipe assembly.

    7. Remove the 2 gaskets from the cylinder head and electric EGR control valve.

  5. REMOVE EGR PIPE CONNECTOR

      Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and EGR pipe connector.

    2. Remove the 2 EGR cooler gaskets and EGR by-pass valve assembly from the EGR with cooler pipe assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 stud bolts from the EGR with cooler pipe assembly.
