FUEL FILTER INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FUEL HEATER ASSEMBLY


    1. A0118VW

      Check the resistance.


      1. Connect a tester between terminal 2 and the fuel heater body.

      2. Apply and maintain vacuum of 29.3 to 40.4 kPa (220 to 300 mmHg) to the fuel heater assembly.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 0.5 to 2.0 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel heater assembly.
