CYLINDER HEAD DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE INTAKE VALVE


    1. A011BBUE01

      Remove the valve stem cap.

    2. Using SST, remove the valve spring retainer lock.

    3. Remove the valve spring retainer, outer compression spring and intake valve from the cylinder head.

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST VALVE


    1. A0118G1E01

      Remove the valve stem cap.

    2. Using SST, remove the valve spring retainer lock.

    3. Remove the valve spring retainer, outer compression spring and exhaust valve from the cylinder head.

  3. REMOVE VALVE STEM OIL SEAL


    1. A0118VZ

      Using needle-nose pliers, remove the valve stem oil seal.

  4. REMOVE VALVE SPRING SEAT


    1. Remove the valve spring seat from the cylinder head.

  5. REMOVE VALVE ROCKER ARM PIVOT


    1. A0116XG

      Remove the valve rocker arm pivot from the cylinder head.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 WITH HEAD TAPER SCREW PLUG

    1. Using a 6 mm socket hexagon wrench, remove the No. 1 taper screw plug and gasket.
