IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the upper intake manifold sub-assembly Click here.

      Note

      Take care to ensure that foreign objects do not enter the Intake Manifold.

  2. REMOVE NO.1 IGNITION COIL


    1. A0117Y9

      Disengage the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the 4 No. 1 ignition coil connectors.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts and the 4 No. 1 ignition coils.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

      Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench, remove the 4 spark plugs.
