ECM REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. Remove the front bumper cover Click here.

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Disengage the wire harness and separate the wire harness from the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose.

    4. Disengage the 2 clamps and the 2 guides, and remove the air cleaner cap.

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the air cleaner filter element.

  4. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY


    1. A0117NJ

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and high pitched horn assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR LOWER AIR DEFLECTOR


    1. A0119S2

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Remove the 2 guides and the radiator air deflector.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.

  7. REMOVE ECM

    A0119UJ

    1. Pull up the lever to loosen the lock and remove the 2 connectors from the ECM.

    2. A011BSB

      Separate the wire harness from the ECU bracket.

    3. Remove the 5 bolts and the ECM.

  8. REMOVE ECU BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 screws and the ECU bracket.
